What RV camping options do you offer at Cisco Grove?
Cisco Grove offers two premium RV site options: Premium Pull-Through and Premium Back-In sites. Both offer full hookups and provide a comfortable home base for exploring the Sierra Nevada, Donner Summit, Lake Tahoe, and the surrounding area.
Are pets allowed at Cisco Grove?
Yes! Registered RV site occupants may bring up to 2 pets per site. Pets must remain leashed and cannot be left unattended at the campsite. Pets are not permitted at tent sites.
How many people can stay at a campsite?
Each campsite can accommodate up to 8 people. Rates are based on 4 guests, with additional person fees applying for guests over the included number.
What is there to do near Cisco Grove?
There’s plenty to explore beyond the campground! Spend the day at Donner Lake, explore the shops and restaurants of Truckee, hike through the surrounding Sierra Nevada, enjoy the South Fork Yuba River, or hit the nearby OHV trails for an off-road adventure. Lake Tahoe and Donner Summit also offer even more opportunities for hiking, sightseeing, climbing, boating, and outdoor recreation.
How many vehicles are allowed at each campsite?
Each campsite allows 1 camping unit and up to 2 vehicles. Additional day guest vehicles must be parked in the designated overflow lot.

What are the quiet hours?
Quiet hours are from 11 PM to 8 AM daily. We ask all guests to be respectful of their neighbors and help keep the campground peaceful during these hours.

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation policies vary depending on how far in advance you cancel. Reservations canceled 2 or more weeks before arrival may receive a refund minus a $25 cancellation fee per campsite or a full refund in camp credit. Cancellations made 1 or more weeks before arrival receive 50% of the reservation in camp credit, while cancellations made less than 1 week before arrival forfeit the full reservation.
How far is your California campground from Lake Tahoe?
Lucky for you, Cisco Grove Campground is located near Lake Tahoe, making it a great home base for exploring the Tahoe and Donner Summit area. Just a short drive from the campground, you can spend the day enjoying Lake Tahoe’s beaches, hiking trails, water activities, and mountain scenery before returning to your campsite in the peaceful Sierra Nevada.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in begins at 3 PM, and check-out is at 1 PM. Extended access may be available for an additional fee, allowing you to enjoy the campground and amenities until 6 PM, subject to availability.
What is the minimum age to reserve a campsite?
The primary guest making a campsite reservation must be at least 21 years old.
